Sight, Taste, Smell, Touch & Hearing

 

My original idea of  someone entering a place of peace away from the modern war of work, technology, social and economical issues has been molded and developed to pursue the brief by MOD.

A small scale object such a jewelry is a way to carry discretely a piece of peace.

Its form will please sight.

Its scent will please smell.

Its material will please touch.

It could create sound when worn, pleasing hearing.

A jewelry collection.

My idea developed from one piece to a whole collection, wearing peace makers touching all the senses.

Ideas:

• balancing earnings creating white noise in your ears blocking out external distracting sounds.
• Listening to the sound when walking and its rhythm rather than listening to music in earphones.
• Disconnecting from technology, reconnecting with natural forms and sounds.
